Disney Institute in Hawaii

Today would have been the first of two days welcoming 200 guests each day to Aulani to attend Disney Institute courses. 

Since June 2018 I have been honored to help host these awesome courses at Aulani in Hawaii for educators, military, businesses etc. We would have filled our 1000th seat tomorrow, though like many other events and organizations around the world, COVID-19 changed the plans. I promise to do my best to continue to have this opportunity later this year for those that are still able to participate and hopefully continue in the future in spite of the new odds. It is somewhat of a weird feeling though to not be at Aulani right now, especially since it’s an event I look forward to all year. It takes countless hours of planning and prep, but in the end it is so worth it when you see the smiles and hear people say it’s one of the best learning experiences they have attended in their career.

To my Disney Institute and Aulani Cast Member friends – There are so many people I can thank individually for the journey thus far. Thank you all for making all of these moments happen. I still remember my first day, July 18, 2017, I started this journey learning from Disney Institute with Ryan and Bruce, and Rene sitting right next to me for his first day. What started as an interest in learning more about the Walt Disney Company became an exciting adventure sharing Disney Institute and Aulani with many people in Hawaii and other states over the course of a few years.

I know the journey will continue and I’m looking forward to when you are all back at work making magic moments again…
